New Orleans Area Fishing Adventures
Just a short drive from the neon lights of Bourbon Street lies a prehistoric wilderness that feels worlds away from the city. Welcome to the vast marshes of Southeast Louisiana, home to some of the best inshore fishing in the country. While we’re fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum, you’ll be completely surrounded by the raw beauty of the Louisiana wetlands.
It’s an angler’s paradise, but our New Orleans area fishing charters offer more than just tight lines—they give you a front-row seat to an incredible nature show. As we navigate the winding bayous and shallow flats, it's common to see alligators sunning on the banks, bald eagles soaring overhead, and elegant blue herons patrolling the shorelines.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro looking for that trophy bull redfish or a family wanting a memorable guided marsh fishing trip, I invite you to step onto my skiff. From the scream of a dragging reel to the quiet beauty of a sunrise over the grass, come see why these waters are legendary.

About the Guide
Capt. Kyle Metzger
Growing up in South Florida, I spent my youth chasing Bass on Lake Okeechobee and navigating the wild expanses of the Everglades for Redfish and Snook. It didn't take long to realize that the water wasn't just a hobby—it was my life’s calling. I began my career as a guide straight out of high school, but a desire to serve led me to enlist in the U.S. Coast Guard.
That 20-year career was a journey through some incredible fisheries. Whether it was fly fishing for trout and giant smallmouth in upstate New York or targeting Peacock Bass in Puerto Rico, I’ve spent my life learning the nuances of water everywhere I went. I still spend my spare time competing on the national Bassmaster circuit, pitting my skills against the country's top anglers and constantly evolving my approach to the water.
Now, I’ve officially traded the uniform and the office for the marsh and a rod, swapping the deck of a ship for the platform of a skiff. After two decades of protecting our waterways, I’m returning to where it all began—back to my roots, sharing my passion and a lifetime of maritime expertise with every guest who steps onto my boat.
